Our 25th Anniversary Gala was a great triumph generating over £10,000 towards helping more local families with young children going through challenging times.
The audience of 180 was filled with many friends including past and current volunteers, the Petersfield Lions, the Petersfield Foodbank, local businesses and schools.
We are very grateful for our generous sponsors, LMS Security Consultants, PainSmith Solicitors and Aspire Pharma. Entertainment Events provided the bar for the event, contributing £600 to the amount raised during the evening.
After a champagne reception and three course meal the guests took part in an auction that raised the temperature and the funds, with amazing prizes, all donated for free. The evening ended with local band Black Cherry Jam playing crowd pleasing tunes to a joyful, happy audience.
It’s a much used phrase that it takes a village to raise a child, and there is truth in this. We would like to thank all of you who have played a part in such a strong and committed community making a difference to the lives of our young children, and helping parents to be the best they can.
