Little Steps Family Groups
Some families prefer group support and enjoy the chance to meet and make friends with other parents who live nearby. Home-Start Butser’s Little Steps Groups provide a relaxed meeting place for families with at least one child under 5 and the atmosphere is always welcoming and friendly. Children enjoy fun activities in a supportive environment with drinks and snacks provided.
Experienced Home-Start Butser staff and trained volunteers organise the activities and are always available to provide a ‘listening ear’ if needed. You don’t need to book in advance but if it’s your first time coming feel free to let us know so that we can look out for you and help you feel at home.
A contribution of £2 per family per session is gratefully received – if this is difficult for you, please get in touch.

How to join a Family Group
For more information, please contact us or ask your Health Visitor, Social Worker, Midwife or GP – or just pop in, these groups are open to all.
